D-Link India will hold channel meets in 36 cities across the country. These channel meets are part of its channel partner empowerment program. They are designed to update and train partners on its products, pre-sales and technology to provide right solution to customers.

D-Link is extending its channel branding initiative, 'Get into the Flow' into its second year, after having already implemented it in most of India last year. The objective of the program this year is to strengthen and revisit the program run last year, and also expand the family of D-Link Value and D-Link Prestige Partners.

The program also focuses on conducting more channel friendly programs and sales promotion schemes.

D-Link is using the program to showcase its UPS and inverter range of products. Gigabyte is also launching its channel programs for the year 2005-06 by introducing the channel to its range of notebooks and PC peripherals at these meets.

D-Link India Sales Director, Prabodh Vyas said, “The objective of the channel meets is to launch 'Get into the Flow–Succession', under which, the existing D-Link and Gigabyte partners are felicitated and new partners from new cities are acknowledged and enrolled into the program”.

He added, “Buoyed by the excellent response from the channel for 'Get into the Flow' program last year, this year we are taking it C- and D- class cities as well. Also we would leverage on these meets to introduce the channel to D-Link's range of products.”
