GeForce 7800GTX, previously known as G70, promises to bring a different 3D gaming experience with high requirement games, like Doom3, Half Life 2 and Splinter Cell. “Our R&D team is dedicated to improve the performance and quality of the product. Through some special tuning and thorough testing, XFX GeForce 7800 GTX all shipped overclocked at the 450MHz engine clock and 1.25GHz memory clock versus the standard 430MHz and 1.2GHz. This ensures the performance and you'll experience the power of full-throttle graphics,” said Arthur Lui, Senior Product Manager at XFX.

“Apart from the card, this time we have enhanced our award winning X shaped box in addition to upgrading our products with XFX chameleon cooling solution. The first round limited edition is bundled with XFX T-shirt, three full games (Farcry, X2 and motogp2), HDTV plus VIVO all-in-one cable and 3d edit software,” he added.

XFX GeForce 7800GTX features the new nVIDIA CineFX 4.0 engine, Intellisample 4.0 technology, Shader Model 3.0, Longhorn support, Engine clock at 450MHz (vs standard at 430MHz), Memory clock at 1.25GHz (vs standard at 1.2Ghz), 24 pipelines and SLI ready.

According to international media, this is for the first time ever in the 3D chips computer graphic history that a company will introduce a chip and have it in retail on the same date. XFX products are distributed exclusively by Rashi Peripherals in India. According to Kapal Pansari, Business Manager–XFX, Rashi Peripherals, the GeForce 7800GTX-based XFX cards will be made available immediately. Besides XFX, some other companies to make available its GeForce 7800 GTX video cards in the international market from today will be BFG, Leadtek, Chaintech and Gigabyte.
