Overwhelmed by the positive response from its participation at Singapore's CommunicAsia 2005, Elitecore Technologies,
Ahmedabad-based provider of convergent billing and Internet access management solutions is making its entry into the South-east Asian markets. The company is already engaged in talks with 10 solution providers in the South East Asian region to implement its solutions for different telecom service providers.
“This event has been really good for us. It has given us a good platform to highlight our products and interact with a focused audience. Though I would not be able to mention the name of the solution providers, but we are working with 10 such companies in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Australia. The service providers in this region find our products quite cost effective, so that makes things easier for us,” informed, Nikhil
Jain, President and COO, Elitecore Technologies.
Targeting the South East Asian region, the company launched its convergent billing framework 'JISP Billing' - at CommunicAsia 2005. “This is a triple-play age as different operators are trying to push voice, video and data in order to gain more marketshare as well as customers. JISP facilitates convergence at the customer, OSS and BSS level, while enabling fine segmentation at the customer, service and geographic levels,” he added.
Through a modular architecture, offering billing, customer care, mediation and provisioning at a single go, the company is positioning JISP to offer flexibility and scalability to service providers. "Today service providers are grappling with issues of customer churn, low ARPUs and revenue leakage by providing a comprehensive approach to handle the 4 Cs - customers, competition, content and channel partners, JISP not only attracts and retains customers, it prevents revenue leakage too," Nikhil adds on.
With its eyes on the South East Asian market, the company is looking forward to having formal partnerships with solution providers in place within the next one-month timeframe. “We work with solution providers very closely as they are the ones who implement our solutions at the customer level. Within one month, we would have partnerships in this region with regards to bundling our products,” he explained.
Having a clear focus towards providing IP-based telecom services, today
Elitecore, is working with over 35 telecom and service providers in the Indian region. They include
BSNL, MTNL, Reliance and Aksh Broadband.
