Computer Association of Nashik (CAN) recently went on a picnic to Goa which was sponsored by D-Link India. Around 60 members of the association participated in this event. Since the outing was arranged in Goa for the first time in place of Nashik, the members were excited as well.

“Normally every year we plan our monsoon picnic to Nashik, so this time we went to Goa. It was an amazing experience and we had lots of fun,”said Sanat Jain, President, CAN.

During this three-nights and four-days trip, the members also attended the technical seminar held by Tyco Electronics and visited the Smart-Link factory in Goa. The members were given hands-on experience on the demo units of the networking products.

In addition, they also attended the conference on the motherboard manufacturing, which provided information about the functions and idea for purchasing the right combination of motherboard.

“The main objective to hold this picnic was to enjoy and learn about the technology at the same time. We also wanted our members to understand the technicalities involved in the process of various products,” added Jain.

“The conference also included live presentation of Samsung laptop and also various Tyco products, which was interesting,” added Ajay Sonar, VP, CAN.
