The Gandhinagar IT Association (GITA) had recently arranged for a three-day long IT expo. Gaurang Vyas, President, GITA said, “This was our second exhibition and we registered a footfall of nearly 1,25,000 people. The response was very good at the event this time, and hopefully next year, more people will turn up for the show.”
“The main idea behind holding this IT expo was to make people aware about the new technologies and products available in the market. We also held the auctions for the products from HP, Compaq and Dell laptops, with prices ranging from Rs 12,000-16,000,” Vyas added. People also won lots of discounts and freebies which were distributed at the expo.
Uren Patel of Vag Infomedia, who had booked his stall at the exhibition said, “We displayed products like LCDs, keyboards, headphones, etc from Zebronics. Compared to last year, this year we registered growth in our sales thanks to the IT expo.” Page(s) 1
