Bengaluru-based Digital Waves has entered into a joint venture with
T-Platforms, a Russian supercomputer company. They aim to offer high-performance
computational clustering solutions to the Indian market. This Russia-India team
intends to introduce the world's best blade server designs and HPC solutions to
the advantage of the Indian Research and Defence Organizations.
The Indian market can avail of the new powerful solutions for
high-performance computing for all verticals like strategic/scientific
computational research, oil and gas exploration, CFD,
bio-medical/bio-informatics, weather modelling/prediction, etc.
Digital Waves will both sell the solution developed by the Russian company,
and install and maintain the system based on these solutions. The new products
available in the Indian market include blade systems T-Blade 1.1 and T-Blade
2.0,
The systems of T-Blade family were developed by T-Platforms, specifically for
high-performance computing. T-Blade 2.0 is the second generation of T-Platforms
blade platforms designed for building computer systems with Petascale level of
performance. T-Blade 2.0 provides peak performance of up to 3TF in a 7U
enclosure and up to 18TF in a standard 42U rack. Page(s) 1
