Thursday, January 03, 2008

Pondicherry-based Information Technology Traders Association (ITTA) will be conducting its annual IT exhibition between Jan 4 to 6, 2008. The CM along with the education minister of the state will inaugurate the IT exhibition.

Around 15,000 people from Pondicherry and nearby states are expected to attend the exhibition. According to M Magesh, President, ITTA, Pondicherry and Chairman, Expo Organizing Committee, “This time, we are joining with the corporate and government, and plan to conduct the exhibition on a larger scale. Since the corporate and government contribute to the trade in a big way, the association decided to rope them in for the expo.”

The exhibition would also see vendors making presentations and displaying their products. 90 stalls have already been booked for the event. This year, the association has also sent out invitations to college students to attend the exhibition.
