Ingram Micro has set up its second service center in the state of Maharashtra. The center at Nagpur provides post sales services to channels and end-customers.

Vivek Kamdar, service in charge for the center said, “This service center is equipped to address most problems of IT products distributed by Ingram Micro. The center is also an authorized service center for all IBM products.” According to Kamdar, the center will address grievances even from states of Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh apart from Maharashtra.

“The long duration of addressing post sales services was indirectly affecting the business of the dealers in this region. Based on this feedback from the channel community, we decided to open this service center,” said Kamdar.

“The service center is located at Rajat Sankul, Ganesh Peth, in Nagpur. The close proximity of this center to the state transport (ST) bus-stand is an added advantage to customers,” added Kamdar.

According to him, this center has definitely helped Ingram bring down the turnaround time by 50 percent. “Previously, faulty products would be sent to Mumbai for repair. This generally took about three days and then the time to repair and posting it back took another three days. With the opening of this new service center in Nagpur, the transit time is eliminated. Apart from the grievances of channel partner, the service center will also attend to calls from the end-user,” asserted Kamdar.
