WatchGuard, specialized in Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions, has appointed Sneha Chadda, as Channel Head for WatchGuard India operations. The company will shortly announce another appointment to head Delhi operations.

“Sneha would head our operations for channel all over the country and would look after all the activities related to channel. Based on the channel partner's feedback we have also decided to appoint a channel manager in Delhi. He will look after the channel activities in and around Delhi,” said Ajit Pillai, Country Head, WatchGuard.

With these two new appointments the headcount for WatchGuard India will be 13. “The global channel programs of WatchGuard require some fine-tuning according to the regional set-up. And this appointments will help us to implement them more effectively,” informed Pillai.

Along with expansion, brand awareness is next on the agenda. The whole brand awareness exercise is aimed at creating higher brand recall with the end-user. The efforts are made along with their channel partners who are keen on taking its products to other parts of the country. “We want to make our presence felt and the focus is to increase our brand awareness with the end-user. We are actively conducting events, programs to increase our end-user interface for instance by participating in events like IT.com in Bangalore,” informed Pillai.
