Over the last few years, Kolkata-based Balaji Solutions has
secured its position as one of the prominent players in the IT channel market of
Eastern India. Now as it looks to consolidate its business operations, Balaji is
ready to launch its own brand Foxin in the market. To be launched tentatively
around May, the Foxin product range will include PC components like, cabinets,

to range from cabinets, keyboards, mouse, UPS, pen drive and speakers |
Elaborating about this new foray Rajendra Seksaria, Director,
Balaji Solutions said, "The idea behind the launch of our own brand is to
make our bottomline strong. Foxin is going to be the name that people will be
able to identify with quality and competitive product range."
Foxin will be launched in Kolkata and adjacent areas
initially and gradually it will be introduced across the rest of the Eastern
region. With a strong re-seller base Seksaria is confident that they will be
able to establish the new brand in the Eastern market within six months.
"We are also planning to launch our brand of PCs in the
next six months and within a year Foxin will be marketed nationally,"
informed Seksaria. To cater to the supply of personal computers Balaji is also
planning to open its own PC manufacturing unit. "2006 is going to be a very
crucial year for us," he added.
The shifting of its entire setup to Kolkata few months back
acted as a boon for the company. "We can now directly control the market,
and as a result our sale has also gone up by 20 percent," said Seksaria.
The company has taken a separate office in the same premises for its new venture
and has also formed a new company in the name of Foxin Technologies Pvt Ltd.
"I am very excited about our new endeavor as it is going
to be a major challenge. Quality will be our main strength as we have selected
the products in a meticulous way," informed Seksaria. The company has
appointed thorough professionals to outsource the materials as well as to take
care of the business operations back home.
