Visesh Infotecnics announced that its US-based joint venture for knowledge process outsourcing and BPO services, Cyberworks Visesh LLC, had been selected by US-based Fortune 500 Company, EchoStar Communications for its BPO requirements. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, EchoStar is a public company with a revenue of more than $7 billion.

Echostar delivers Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) television products and services through its dish network, to customers worldwide. It is expected that this breakthrough will generate first year revenues to the tune of $ 20 million for Visesh.

Visesh had announced its KPO JV on the October 8, 2005 with Cyberworks Software (CSI). The two companies had agreed to work together, through a new joint venture company established in USA, as Cyberworks Visesh LLC, which is owned 50% each by Cyberworks and Visesh. This new entity, combined the ISO certified infrastructure and management of Delhi-based, Visesh Info­­tecnics with the resources of Cyber­works Software.

Sanjiv Bha­v­nani, CEO and MD of Visesh Info­tecnics said, “We have carefully studied the potential of BPO business for the past few years and embarked upon our Knowledge Process Out­sourcing (KPO) initiative keeping in view our strengths, global trends and opportunities. We believe that our success in this field will be guided by our differentiation of service from existing players and our clear focus on higher skilled processes with consequently higher payouts.” He added that the strength of the background and capabilities of Cyberworks Software removes hurdles in addressing the US markets and in understanding client needs better.
