In a move to further develop its `Qmax' PC market, Nebula Technologies Pvt Ltd has embarked on an ambitious game plan of launching customized PCs for specific business groups in the market. To start with, the company has recently launched Qmax PharmAssist focused on growing retail pharmacy shops. "We see a good market here especially in the smaller cities and towns where computerization is happening vigorously. We are providing complete solution for a pharma retailer at a very nominal price," said V Sakthivel, Business Manager, Nebula.
Nebula is working on similar solutions for specific business groups and the next product will be launched shortly.
Qmax PharmAssist is the latest technology PC loaded with pharmacy software and bundled with printer (Wipro) and UPS for a price of Rs 49,500 (excluding tax). "Besides this, we are also giving domain name with five email ids for free-of-cost to the customers," quipped
Sakthivel.
The company also arranges for finance through its nationwide tie-up with Bajaj Auto Finance
(BAFL).
"We want to help customers to go for modern and computerized pharmacy shops and we would provide training and hands-on experience to them through our channel partners in the respective region," said S Gokulakrishnan, Business Development Executive,
Qmax.
Nebula has conducted 20 roadshows across the country to promote its new offering and the company is concentrating mainly on upcountry markets, especially smaller towns. "We are in the process of appointing more dealers in the smaller cities and towns across the country. We are planning to cover 150 cities and towns in India," he said.
However, Nebula has confirmed that it will clearly identify the markets to avoid cross over of territory among channels and create unnecessary competition.
The company is also emphasizing on providing quality post-sales support for the customers. "Normally, in any support service the customers are left hapless as hardware and software service providers blame each other. However, here, Nebula takes care of everything," he explained.
Qmax PharmAssist has an extensive database of 13,000 medicine titles with excellent management on inventory. The expiry pop-up alert informs players well in advance about the stock position.
Nebula hopes to record 20 percent growth in its PC sales because of this new initiative and also confident of increasing its bottomlines in the business. Last year, Nebula sold 7,000 Qmax PCs in the country with home emerging the clear winner.
