The Amravati Computer Dealers’ Association (ACDA) will be, for the first
time, holding a mega IT exhibition called the IT Utsav on December 20 to 22.
“The whole idea is to bring the much needed IT awareness among masses of
the Amravati region,” says Prakash Purohit, VP -Payments, ACDA.
In the absence of big corporates and industries, the only strong customer
segment in the region is the home segment. “IT growth in Amravati is slowly
picking up. Such awareness programs will give the much needed boost to the
industry,” says Prakash.
The association has already received informal confirmation from 35
participants. It hopes to have 10,000 visitors per day during the event. ACDA is
also trying to rope in support from vendors for the event. Display of new
products will be the attraction of the event.
