In order to promote Wazirpur as an IT destination for channel business, North West Computers' Traders Association (NWCTA) is planning to organize Diwali fair and Computer Carnival in the premises of Wazirpur Commercial Complex. The event would kickstart from October 23 to 26.

“It will be a four day carnival. We are expecting a lot of walk-ins. The main objective of the fest is not just to promote sale of IT products but also to endorse Wazirpur as an IT business center,” shared Avishkar Arora, Secretary, NWCTA. The association is in the process of confirming the participation of major vendors in laptops, printers and scanners domain.

Mukesh Gupta, President, NWCTA shared, “While organizing this fest our sole objective is to create awareness among customers in areas like Rajouri Garden, Paschim Vihar and Azadpur that there is a commercial IT market in north Delhi also and they need not go to Nehru Place to purchase IT products. We are hoping that this move will increase the popularity of Wazipur Commercial Complex as a destination for IT products.”

Besides stalls for IT products, the association will also organize gaming facilities, eating joints and stage shows for the visitors. “The IT stalls will be managed by vendors and almost all the prime vendors have agreed to participate in the carnival. We will also have lucky draw for the customers,” added Arora. Customers will also get additional coupons and gift vouchers on certain products.

NWCTA was formed two years ago and the members of the association are from north and northwest part of Delhi that includes Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Mall Road, Rohini, Ashok Vihar, Rajouri Garden and Dwarka.
