Schneider designs Actassi

Schneider Electric announced the launch of Actassi, an end-to-end connectivity from data center to all the way to work stations at offices and hotels. Actassi consists of Smart Patching Solution, 'tough' cabling, and Ergo-Aesthetic terminals that are designed in a way so that users, as well as IT Professionals, will find them easy, useful, and above all, satisfying to use.

Many structured cabling and connectivity products in the market focus on technology and features that are often difficult to use or seldom used. These features complicate users' work rather then helping them work efficiently. Actassi is the solution for these complications.

With its patent-pending ID-TracerTM technology, IT Professionals are able to maximize their planning and control over the structured cabling system. By focusing on the most useful features, Actassi's Smart Patching Solution enables MAC (move, add, change) implementation even for the most dynamic network instantly. Moreover, the user-friendly ID-TracerTM software is built on an open platform, unlike the other systems in the market, thus there is no need for any complicated trainings.

The 'tough' cabling of Actassi, including the F2 cable and ID-3TM F2 patch cords, helps to reduce rework frequency even with varying installer quality. The patent-pending F2 construction design optimizes structural integrity and ensures superior data transmission performance and reliability. This unique patent-pending design ensures conductor separation under any conditions so that there is always more headroom, higher cable balance, and longer product life.
