Com-IT expo, the annual expo arranged by Trade Association of Information
Technology (TAIT), in Mumbai will have special rates for its members. The DQ
Week had already reported that TAIT rates are on a higher side. For a four sq mt
stall, a member will have to pay just Rs 28,764 for six sq mt, Rs 43,146 and for
an eight sq mt, the rates will be Rs 57,520 only.
Umang Mehta, Spokesperson, TAIT said, "Around 20 to 30 percent of our
members will avail this benefit. We are receiving good responses from our
members as well as vendors."
TAIT presently has around 350 members that comprises of IT companies like
distributors, resellers, system integrators, software and networking companies.
Members include names like HP, Epson, HCL, Compuage, Neoteric, Ashtech, SES,
Visualan, Kobian, Lexmark, APCOM/DAX, Zenith, Ingram Micro, The Best, Allied
Digital, Ontrack, Omnitech, Kalyani etc.
Chetan Shah, General Secretary, TAIT said, "We are also preparing for a
one-day conference on Dec 7, 2007 called 'Synergies 2007', where eminent
speakers from the industry will share their views on topics focusing on
forthcoming technologies and trends. IT managers, CEOs and other important
dignitaries will also be a part of it."
Shah further added that the objective of such a conference is to bring forth
the point to the audience as to how they can synergies their organization with
the forthcoming IT technologies and improve their processes, productivity,
manageability and data security.
The Com-IT expo will be held from Dec 8 to 12 in Mumbai at the MMRDA
