From a component distributor, Supertron Electronics has become East India's largest distribution house. Posting a turnover of Rs 413 crore in agency revenues alone, it beat the industry growth average to register a growth rate of 89 percent. The company earned another Rs 66 crore from the sale of its own products sold under Supertron brand.

In 2007 it was appointed as the exclusive distributor of Buffalo for its range of storage products. The company is already the national distributor of Seagate data storage products. Recently, Supertron bagged an exclusive contract to distribute Seagate's Maxtor Retail drives. Besides, it started distributing various range of IBM servers. The company has also achieved considerable growth through its national distribution of Transcend products.

Supertron has successfully established its own brand Supercomp nationally, with special focus on the upcountry market. It also implemented a total online ERP solution throughout India to enable faster decision making for business processes. Supertron has also launched surveillance systems this year making a new product addition to its basket. The company has added branches in Dehradun, Chandigarh, Indore and Cochin, a new division has been opened in Bengaluru to handle surveillance systems.

The company has redefined its national support structure making it a new revenue vertical for the company. Under the revised process as noted in the previous year, the company has de-centralized the existing service centers by making three RSC (Regional Service Centers) in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad apart from its Master Service Center (MSC) which is placed at its head quarter in Kolkata.
