16.Targus Technologies :Expansion On Its Mind

Having undertaken some good projects for telecom and government, Targus Technologies is now exploring the BPO and education verticals for which it is following meticulously woven strategies

Touching a turnover of Rs 88 crore in the year 2006-07, Targus Technologies registered growth of 26 percent from Rs 65 crore, of the previous fiscal. With the objective to expand its reach, the company opened two new offices in Mumbai and Pune last fiscal. Targus Technology also forayed into network integration last year, and deployed some commendable projects.

One of the challenging projects that brought high acknowledgement was Monitoring and Response System (CS-MARS) that involved the services like penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, and was deployed for leading telecom company and cost $75,000. Another major project was for a Chinese company Invista where its newly opened Indian office was to be connected with the China-based head-office and this was done through VoIP-based on routers and IP phones.
