13.Visesh Infotecnics :Eyeing Overseas Business

With Sify, Echostar and Living Media as its new customers, Visesh Infotechnics will soon foray into the UK and Hong Kong markets

Planning its diversification into newer markets and launching new services and products, enabled Visesh Infotecnics to make its presence felt. Apart from that it also maximized returns from its business. Not only was the company busy in implementing projects undertaken, but it also expanded its domain by entering into contracts and clinching new tie-ups.

Working hard to build a brand name for its services, Visesh registered revenue of Rs 110.33 crore for 2006-07, registering a growth of a 28 percent from the year before when its turnover stood at Rs 78 crore.

Propelling this growth were the various contracts that the company bagged and deployed. These were spread across various verticals like BPO to telecommunication. In the last vertical, the company provided value-added services like ringtone downloads from all GSM operators across nation.

Besides this, Visesh also offered its services in the areas of TransX CPM application for fleet management of several BPOs including JP Morgan, V-Connect etc. Visesh also implemented Wi-Max projects in cities such as Pune and Uttranchal.

In addition, it managed outsourcing contracts for global technical support for UK-based Image Anlyser. With this project in hand, the company was also appointed the exclusive distributor for Asia Pacific initiatives and awarded exclusive global technical support on the product by Image Anlyser. What's more, Sanjeev Bhavnani, CEO of Visesh was also appointed as Director (Asia-Pacific) by the company.

In the wake of these new contracts, Visesh went to make some new customers, which included the UK's OMV, Living Media Group, Echo Star and Sify.
