set of solutions to its customers and having built its base in South, the
company is now targeting western and eastern regions
The Precision Group is a 12-year old solution providing firm catering to
large corporates as well as small and medium enterprises in India. It has
offices in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore and
Vishakapattinam.
Last year, the company decided to move beyond South and opened an office in
Mumbai and New Delhi.
From clocking Rs 115 crore in 2005-06 to Rs 177 crore in the last fiscal,
Precision was one of the few companies, which registered over 35 percent growth.
Even after a being premier enterprise partner and authorized service delivery
partner for HP; member business partner and authorized support provider for IBM;
channel partner and authorized service provider for HCL; certified gold partner
for Microsoft and Novell, strategic business partner for Toshiba, the company
still felt it was missing some piece of the solution pie. Hence it tied up with
VM Ware to concentrate more on the storage segment.
Recently, HP India opened its business solutions center in Chennai in
partnership with Precision Infomatic at the latter's premises to help customers
get an experience of the latest HP products and solutions to cater to their
business needs, specific to the operative verticals. The center showcases HP
products like servers, storage, thin clients, commercial desktops, notebooks,
workstations, commercial printers and HP genuine accessories, catering to
enterprise and mid-market businesses. Customers can witness live demonstrations
of software application on HP hardware customized to their business
requirements.
