Last fiscal was a significant year for SK International (SKI) considering the 23% growth it witnessed in its revenue. This is very close to the target of 25% it had set the previous year, where it had grown by just 5%. SKI closed 2004-05 with a revenue of Rs 53 crore, placing it on the 21th rank of the Silver Club.

SKI has been a dynamic systems integrator and a provider of IT solutions for the last many years with expertise in delivering consultancy, technology and managed services. By teaming with market leading technology companies, it has built a robust portfolio of wide-ranging IT solutions.

The company has tied-up with HP, Microsoft, Oracle, RSA, Cisco, EMC, Veritas, Hitachi, Citrix, Avaya, Sun and Molex. According to the company these are not just simple marketing collaborations.

With the help of above principals, SKI has mastered the art of providing enterprise IT infrastructure, network security, storage, network management and multi-service networking (voice/video/data convergence).

Unlike few other successful solutions providers in the market, SKI has refrained from expanding aggressively on the product and reach front. It only added one branch office bring the total to 11. The number of employees has also not increased significantly in the past one year.

The portfolios of SKI's services are more or less the same what others offer. The usual range of break fix maintenance, facilities management, application management, security and network management, and database administration services makes the core of its activities.

However, what makes them different is its ability to offer world-class solutions with a commitment to deliver 24x7 supports
through vast options. 24x7 support is delivered by way prime shift, onsite, remote access, telephonic, email and chat mechanisms, which also help the customers to minimize support cost. This has become its USP and has got it several corporate customer accounts.

SKI is a part of the Rs 600 crore SK Group of Companies, focused on various industry segments like oil, plastics, finance and commodity trading. According to the company, sustaining in the solutions space for more than 10 years is a big achievement in itself.
