Datacraft India's focus remained on the BFSI sector with nearly 40% revenues coming from it. ITES and telecom contributed significantly as well. In FY 04-05, it also addressed the manufacturing and EOU sector.

Datacraft India's turnover for 2004-05 grew by 33.2% to Rs 466 crore, while it was Rs 350 crore the previous year. The services business now contributes 31.63% as against the 27% in 2003-04. Thus, it is well on its way to achieve its vision of a 50-50 products-services ratio target.

Datacraft announced a partnership ITpreneurs to offer e-learning and classroom training solutions in India and the sub-continent. With this partnership, it becomes the first IT company in India to offer advanced IT Service Management courses in India.

The solution provider also entered a systems integration partnership for the Asia South region. This regional partnership will create new systems solutions, incorporating technology and products from both companies in areas such as data centre, storage & data management, enterprise web services, identity management, and desktop mobility.

Datacraft launched its Global Services Center (GSC) in Bangalore last fiscal to provide high-end support to its local, regional and global uptime and insite customers. Its managed services operations in Hong Kong, India, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore have been consolidated into this GSC, which handles operations such as call management, remote helpdesk and insite operations.

Datacraft successfully completed the set up of the nationwide network for SBI spanning nearly 4,500 branches across 400 cities when it completed Phase II of the project networking 2,929 branches of SBI and its seven associate banks across the region.

In 2004-05 Datacraft introduced applications such as e-mail archival, workforce optimization, security information management, XML, digital video security surveillance, etc. It also launched an enhanced brand in October 2004 that included an independent multi-country brand audit conducted by TNS, a leading market information groups.

During the last fiscal, Datacraft bagged several MNC accounts like Jabil Circuit, Wataniya Telecom and ACNielsen. For Jabil, which is an electronic services provider, Datacraft provided the entire network infrastructure for its new manufacturing facility located at Pune. The project involved the implementation of an advanced converged IP network capable of supporting the manufacturer's core business applications as well as providing next generation functionality including IP telephony, robust security and seamless integration for wireless solutions.
