The company grew by nearly 61% in 2004-05 and registered a turnover of Rs 61
crore. This debutant made a successful foray into mobile business with LG
handsets first and took BenQ later-now the only brand it is dealing with, which
brought in Rs 4 crore revenue.
Another new venture which really helped the company to scale new heights in
business over the last year was the LG IT product distribution. Bagging the
regional distributor status for LG, the company claims to have attained the No 1
position in Kerala within a short span of one year. It made Rs 12 crore through
LG distribution.
Zenicon Group has four major business divisions under it. Noveon Systems is
their flagship unit, which is primarily into sub-distribution of IT products.
Noveon carries a wide range of brands/products covering all major vendors in
IT. In the last year, it tied up with Philips, besides getting into PC
distribution a big way. Noveon currently offers HCL, Wipro, Acer and LG
computers in the market.
Another major development at Noveon over the last year was appointing
regional managers, across Kerala, and individual product heads in business. This
has helped the company to have special focus on some performing products/brands
and markets.
